Inscription: From the Patriotic Fund at Lloyds to Mr. John Green, Master's Mate of H.M.S. Galatea for his Gallantry and Perseverance when Commanding a Boat belonging to that Ship in Boarding and Carrying the French National Corvette Lynx of 16 Guns & 161 Men, as Recorded in the London Gazette of the 14th April 1807
